Château Salavaux

Located at the heart of history - the fate of the Confederation was played out not far from here - this sumptuous 16th century château is now devoted to the delights of the table and hospitality alone. It's here that La Vigne's classic rituals take place, adapted for the season when we like to snuggle up in a cosy bosky bower. It all begins with a foot wellness treatment (bath and massage) by the fireside, accompanied by a vintage wine lovingly cultivated by local winegrowers on the slopes of Lake Murten. This is followed by treatments such as scrubs, wraps and massages, based on a selection of products from the vineyards. To complete this unique experience, you can then sample - if you wish - the Château's refined cuisine, its rich local wine list and - why not - its luxurious rooms, steeped in history.
